05/13/27 - 05/14/27 All day
•Let me tell you how the drive works;
The drive takes place the Thursday and Friday after Mother’s day, this coming year it’s May 13th & 14th. We will leave on May 12th and drive to Bourbonnais Il., where we will meet others from Michigan and the Chicago area, have dinner together and stay the night. We will then caravan from Bourbonais to Dyersburg, TN where we will meet up with other Corvettes, from Peoria, St Louis, Nashville, and Louisville.
We will spend the night in Dyersburg, then the next day we will all caravan, with a police escort, to the hospital campus to Memphis. So much fun! All worthwhile! It is the most inspiring thing you will ever do in a Corvette.
Costs are $495, which covers, event shirts, one night hotel room, a couple of meals, insurance and one tank of fuel. This is a fundraiser, in order to participate the driver is required to raise $1,250 and the passenger is required to raise $750, a total of $2,000.
When I first got involved with this and I heard that fundraising number, I’m thinking, Gezz I don’t know if I can do that, that’s a lot of money. But it’s not as difficult as you might think, most people have heard of St Jude and they know what they do, we took the plunge that first year, we ended up raising over 1,000 dollars more than we needed to, most of it thru email.We would love to have you join us in our support of St. Jude’s by joining in on next years St. Jude Corvette Drive. You can register at stjudedrives.org, click on the Great Lakes or Northern Tab, and when prompted join under the team name of Wisconsin.
