This message is about my 1971 coupe. I think I am finally ready to let it go, and wanted to see if anyone in the club might be interested in buying it. This is the base model with the 350CI/270HP engine and a 4 speed. The engine is numbers matching with the correct date codes. I have not verified the numbers on the transmission, but have no reason to suspect they don’t match, too. Covette 1966 Corvette Convertible
1966 Corvette Convertible Stingray: Rare 427/390 HP Engine, 4 speed, numbers match. It is believed that the car was a two or three owner car. The current owner has had the car for the past 56 years, with no collector ever touching it. Using State Farm Insurance Appraisers, 20 years ago it was legitimately appraised for $74,000.00. The frame was referred to as “bullet proof.” Most all factory correct type components are included such as the jack, jack tools, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, updated braided wires, air cleaner, plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, gas door assembly, glove box door, and owner’s manual. Since its appraisal, the car’s brakes, calibers, master cylinder and parking brake were replaced on the car. It had original factory side pipes, which have been replaced with new ones. Regular maintenance have been done to the car during the time the current owner had the car. Since the time the car was owned by current owner. It has never been driven during the winter months, instead it was kept in storage. Recollection of above information is shared to the best of my ability. Asking $55,000.00 or best offer.
